The investigation at the Air Force Academy is continuing today, as the number of female Air Force Academy cadets who say they were sexually assaulted and then reprimanded for reporting it has increased to twelve.

Air Force spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Dewey Ford says investigators set up a phone number at the academy where concerned
cadets can call to speak with one of the team members.

He says more people were arriving in Colorado Springs this week
to help with the investigation, and the team will be at the academy at
least through the week.

The Air Force sent a team of investigators to examine whether the sexual assault allegations were ignored. The group is trying to decide if the current program works and if changes are needed.
