Jefferson County Sheriff's investigators say five teens could face felony arson and other charges in a 2,700-acre wildfire that burned near Arvada.
Investigators say 19-year-old Jonathan Northhaft, 18-year-olds Brandon Busby and Joshua Grenberg, and two unnamed 17-year-olds are being considered suspects in the Jan. 10 fire.
They face felony fourth-degree arson and misdemeanor charges of firing woods and prairies, defacing property and third-degree trespass.
The fire forced the evacuation of about 130 homes and was fought by more than 200 firefighters.
The estimated cost of the blaze was $187,000.
