Colorado Weather

Up to six inches of snow is expected Thursday morning along the Front Range.

Wind gusts of up to 80 miles-per-hour were reported in parts of Colorado last night blowing snow and causing blizzard-like conditions as winter storms moved into most of the state.

San Miguel County Sheriff's Deputy Brian Beckham says the wind was causing problems with snow drifting, making roads impassable in southwestern Colorado.

No serious injuries were immediately reported.

In northern Colorado, a 34-year-old Severance man was killed in an accident near Timnath as a rash of car accidents snarled morning rush hour traffic.

The man was identified by the Greeley Tribune as Shawn P- Brinkman.

Interstate 25 was briefly closed because of accident.
