A 17-year-old boy is being held in Weld County after he allegedly threatened to carry out a Columbine-style attack at his school on Valentine's Day.
The Fort Lupton teen reportedly said he would attack other students with a gun or a pitchfork, and warned a girl via the Internet not to go to class Tuesday because something was going to happen, and people were going to get hurt.
The girl's parent printed the message and notified school and law enforcement authorities.
The FBI traced the screen name and located the boy at home.
Agents also seized three computers from the residence.
The teen faces a charge of interfering with an educational institution.
