The woman who once played Cindy Brady made quite a scene behind the scenes during a Southern Colorado radio broadcast Thursday morning.

Susan Olsen played Cindy Brady back in the 70's.

She was a guest on The Jet 107.9 when a little way into her interview, she told the D.J.s she got "wasted" the night before and was ready to vomit.

We got the actresses side of the story, Susan Olsen admits she had too much to drink Wednesday night.

"I had some wine, plenty of wine and it hit me like a ton of bricks and this morning, I felt really awful," Olsen said.

D.J. Darren McKee says it's the weirdest thing that's ever happened to him, in 20 years of radio.

They helped her out of the room, and she later left the radio station after they say they made sure she had a driver waiting outside.

Olsen later told 11 News she thinks the whole situation is being "blown out of proportion".

Very self-righteous of you folks who say that Ms. Olsen "set a bad example" or "acted unprofessionally in front of her son" or "disgraced her son". And shame on the perosn who called her a "pig". Oh my goodness! Do you really think she was drinking in front of her son??? She had a bit too much wine and paid for it in the morning. She happened to have her son with her at the radio station. He saw her getting ready to be sick...did she let him see her get drunk? Not likely. She is human just like you and me. Who, out of all of you, has never messed up in front of your child in some way or another, be it drinking, swearing, lying, or WHATEVER? Puh-lease! No one is perfect and some of you sound as though you think you are! And, by the way...she is NOT "Cindy Brady"... she is Susan Olsen. I can't believe how that DJ acted in exploiting her incident. Has he never done anything wrong or embarrassing himself? Get a life, whoever you are...glad I forgot your name already.

The fact is that this "so called" celeb is a mother. She dicraced her son on the air that now her son will have to live with for the rest of his life. If anyone needs to get a life, I think that person is Ms. Olson!

TheJet: I was astounded at the reaction of the host of the show...the poor man was absolutely incredulous at the action of Ms Olsen. She's right - better in the Ladies' room than in his face. Grow up, guy, live real life outside the microphone and desk. By the way, it is NOT a BATHROOM in your office building....it is a RESTROOM. (NO BATHERS IN THAT RESTROOM.) What he said is about as smart as folks who let their pets outdoors to "go to the BATHROOM". Huh? On a more serious side, is Ms. Olsen missing her upper teeth? She looked so "old" in that film clip. None of us getting any younger....(*!*)

Yep. Definitely blown out of proportion. Had it not been for the news media blabbering about it, the only people that would have even known about it are the people who work at the station, her family, and the few listeners that day. The real question is: Who gives a rip?

Are you kidding me, people? The woman acted unprofessionally and in front of her 10 year old son. She deserves a little humiliation. Pathetic.

This is no news! This is filling some airtime. DJ was just looking for some airtime. He played being upset very good. Next time, please use a little bit more common sense what you consider and bring in the "News".

know you’re just doing your job, but I was sorry to see that the incident you described (see subject) was covered in the “shaming” way it was. I’m not familiar with the radio host you covered because I live in Illinois. The coverage came to me via Internet CNN. If possible, please send this message along to the radio host. Ordinarily I don’t give feedback regarding coverage of the “stars,” but I am motivated to make a comment here. The radio host really lost his opportunity to show the intelligent, compassionate side of his nature (if he has one) and to add some depth to his character or radio persona. He could have taken the incident in stride and acted a little cooler and more empathetic. Something like “upchuck happens,” or the like would have been funnier and more admirable than his immature “dismay” at what happened. His reaction was so judgmental and shaming that it made him look very shallow. After all, who hasn’t had too much wine (or spirits) and then ended up

Saw on CNN and had to write the horse's mouth. What a lame story. The radio station has to use a common experience most have had, a hangover, to get some much needed pub. Talk about casting the first stone. Good luck as your ride your next guest's bout of irritable bowel syndrome straight to the top of arbitron. Hacks.

"Blown out of proportion" is an understatement. This isn't even news! KKTV should be ashamed of wasting my time. You actually fell for this nutcase DJ scheme to get some TV time! It's not just the wierdest thing that has happened to him in twenty years - it's the ONLY thing out of the ordinary and he wants to make a spectacle of it. Good grief! Mrs. Olsen had an extra glass of wine and because she isn't a regular drunk, she suffered the effects of it. Too bad. But NO, it can't be left at that. Some schmuck has to try to paint Mrs. Olsen as a wrecked "Cindy Brady" by being a drunk and poor mother. To Darren McKee I say "get a life." To KKTV for airing his feeble attempts at fame I say "please show me some real news at 10 o'clock. Otherwise I might just go to sleep with no fear of missing anything important."

Now it reads, Olsen later told 11 News she thinks the whole situation is being "blown of out proportion". Still needs fixing.

Who writes this stuff for you guys?... "when a little way into her interview"...huh? Here's another good one..."the whole situation is being "blown of proportion". Geez, get with it.
