The head of the Vermont State Police calls the discovery of the body of a missing 12-year-old girl "heartbreaking."

State police found the remains of Brooke Bennett in Randolph not far from the house of her uncle, who's being held on an unrelated sex charge. She'd been missing for a week.

Brooke was last seen alive with her uncle, Michael Jacques, at a convenience store a week ago. An affidavit unsealed in federal court says the FBI interviewed an unidentified teenager who says she was there when Jacques allegedly tricked Brooke into thinking she was going to a party.

The unidentified teenager says Jacques actually took his niece to his home to be initiated into a sex ring.

I think somebody should just shoot him and get it over with. That is after a slow torture. What a waste of life. I am so sad to hear about the abuse these young girls went through. It is a sick world out there and it makes my blood boil thinking of these sick people hurting these innocent beautiful children.

Death sounds good for both of them.
