Police are looking for a group of vandals after 28 District 20 school buses were damaged early Saturday morning.
Police say the vandals struck District 20's Bus Barn sometime between 12 and 4 am Saturday morning, taking out 11 windows and damaging parking lot light fixtures.
District officials spent the day cleaning up glass and repairing the buses for Monday.
"It's just senseless," said D-20 Driver Supervisor Kathy Barnett. "There's no reason for anyone to come out here and do this kind of damage."
Barnett estimates damage will cost besteen 3,000 and 5,000 dollars to repair.
District officials hope the public will help catch the vandals. If you have any information on this case, call Student Crime Stoppers at 444-STOP in Colorado Springs, or 543-TIPS in pueblo. No one will ask for your name, and you could earn a cash reward.
