Bob Beauprez officially launched his gubernatorial campaign, saying he believes most Coloradans identify with his conservative principles.
The Republican congressman says he'll vow to tackle issues including illegal immigration, water storage, and education.
Beauprez also wants to focus on the state's future, which he says is bright with economic opportunities. He says the state's economy can improve by expanding on areas like its aerospace industry and military infrastructure.
What he won't focus on, Beauprez said, are jabs from his Republican primary opponent, former University of Denver president Marc Holtzman.
