Love is in the air this Valentine's Day near Fort Carson and Peterson Air Force Base.
The El Paso County clerk's office says it has issued nearly twice the usual number of marriage licenses in recent days. That's because many soldiers are trying to tie up loose ends before possible military action with Iraq.
Wedding-related businesses are also reporting an increase. The manager of a Fort Carson flower shop says planners have been busy with couples who are moving up their wedding date because of deployment.
