Goodbye, Lifetime Movie Network. Hello, Oxygen Media.
EchoStar Communications says it has replaced Lifetime Television's movie channel on its Dish Network with Oxygen Media.
The change comes amid a dispute over a contract extension with Lifetime.
EchoStar pulled the Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network channels on New Year's Eve after the two sides failed to agree on programming fees.
EchoStar spokesman Marc Lumpkin says the nation's second-largest satellite T-V provider is still willing to negotiate with Lifetime but that no talks have taken place since late last week.
A Lifetime spokesman did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
