Firefighters say wet weather Sunday helped them get the Nash Ranch Fire completely contained. The fire, in Park County near the town of Guffey, started last week from a lightning strike.
As of 9 a.m. Monday, all evacuated residents were allowed to return home.
Crews will still be out keeping an eye on things for a few days, in case any hot spots flare up.
There will also be some cleanup in the burn area, including work to restore bull dozer lines to a more natural state. That will help prevent erosion in those areas. Also, some fences that were cut during the firefighting efforts will have to be repaired.
