Eleven High School Students Found Smoking Heroin-Laced Pot

Three Douglas County teenagers are expected to face criminal charges after sheriff's deputies found a group of students smoking marijuana -- laced with heroin.
Lieutenant Alan Stanton says a group of eleven students was seen smoking in a drainage area on open space near Mountain Vista High School.
Deputies frequently patrol the area because of its popularity as a place to smoke cigarettes.
Field tests performed at the scene found traces of heroin in the pot.
Stanton says three 14- and 15-year-olds will probably be charged with possession of marijuana, but that it's unlikely they knew it'd been laced with heroin.
