Crime Rate Drops 12% In CO
The report includes statistics on major crime trends, statewide major offense and arrest totals, arson, hate crime, domestic violence and officers assaulted and individual law enforcement agency statistics.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has released the 2007 Crime in
Colorado Report.

Overall, an 11.7 percent decrease in crime has been reported for 2007.

The report includes statewide crime statistics reported voluntarily to CBI
by local law enforcement jurisdictions.  

The report includes statistics on major crime trends, statewide major offense and arrest totals, arson, hate crime, domestic violence and officers assaulted and individual law enforcement agency statistics.

Annually, the Crime in Colorado Report honors those officers killed in the
line of duty. Two Colorado law enforcement officers were reported accidentally killed in the line of duty for 2007.
