Pipes, fuses, black powder and Ammonium Nitrate were allegedly found in James Crippin's home by authorities.
The entire neighborhood had to be evacuated June 18 because of the dangerous nature of the materials allegedly found when he was arrested.
Crippin is a former CBI agent and former law enforcement trainer at CSU pueblo. He is now facing felony charges including theft of more than $15,000 and embezzlement among other misdemeanor charges.
He appeared in a Pueblo courtroom Monday to be formally charged. He will be back in court in August.
