Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
Retired Admiral Harold W. Gehman Junior went to Barksdale Air
Force Base in Louisiana yesterday.
The panel is meeting for the first time today.
A Colorado Springs-based commander has also been named to that
investigative team. Brigadier General Duane Deal is with the 21st
Space Wing at Peterson Air Force Base.
Other commission members include civilian transportation and
aviation officials along with NASA leaders in engineering and
mission safety.
Deal led the investigation into the 1997 explosion of a Delta
Two rocket at Cape Canaveral. His final report showed investigators
were unable to determine the cause of the incident.
