The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling two popular home products.
The first is the Regent 500 Watt Halogen Bulb. Nearly 600,000 were sold and they could pose a fire hazard if used in a terchiere floor lamp or other indoor fixtures. If you would like to get more information on this recall call the manufacturer, Cooper Lighting, at 800-954-7145, or log onto their Web site at www.cooperlighting.com
The second recall concerns Zenith Analog Large Screen Projection Televisions that were manufactured between 1995 and 1998. About 80,000 of the TVs were sold. A problem with a coolant fluid leak in the set can cause smoking, charring and electrical arcing and pose a fire hazard. If you would like more information on the recall, call Zenith at 800-777-5195 or log onto their Web site at www.projorecall.com
