2 Shot At Denver-Area Halfway House, Alleged Gunman Arrested

An alleged gunman has been arrested after an overnight shooting at a halfway house.

Two people were shot at the Arapahoe Community Treatment Center in Englewood around 1 a.m. Friday. The county's sheriff's office says that the investigation indicates the gunman walked inside and began shooting at people.

Sister station KCNC says the victims are an employee and a patient. The suspect is believed to be a former patient who may have walked away from the facility. The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office has identified him as Francis Pizzo. He was arrested near Deckers, Colo. around 12:30 p.m.

The victims' injuries are non-life threatening.
