The Fort Collins man accused of killing a university student is scheduled to appear in court again on Thursday. 22 year old Jason Clausen stands charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of second degree kidnapping in the death of Lacy Miller.
Authorities recovered the body of the 20 year old University of Northern Colorado student over the weekend in Poudre Canyon, just outside Fort Collins. The Larimer County Coroner's Office
positively identified the remains as Miller's yesterday.
A Fort Collins newspaper has filed a motion asking that a gag
order in the case be lifted. The paper's request for Clausen's
booking photo and arrest affidavit was denied last week.
Larimer County District Court Judge James Hiatt will hear
arguments on the motion Thursday.
Miller disappeared January 18th after going out with friends.
