After two years in the making, the new Marian House soup kitchen and dining hall opens its doors in Colorado Springs.

The new and improved building will be able to serve more than twice the number of people as the old location. It even has a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen.

With the soft economy, Marion House workers say they see more and more people in need of a good meal. And with more people needing their help, the new facility was greatly needed.

Now, the old building will be torn down and a new self-sufficiency center will be put up in its place to help people get back on their feet.
