Investigators have confirmed that all five people on board the two planes that collided over Denver last night, are dead. And, they say, seven other people who were on the ground at the time of the crash are injured.
Two of the people killed have been identified. One is 51year old Fred Greg White of Westminster and the other, Lee Larson, was piloting one of the planes. The other victims names have not yet been released.
The crash happened last night around 5:15pm just North of Invesco Field in Denver. One of the planes, a single engine Cessna, was flying from Jefferson County Airport to Centennial Airport. It crashed into a home at 35th and Moncrieff. The other plane was a twin engine Piper headed to Cheyenne out of Centennial Airport. It crashed into the area of 26th and Irving.
