Sun-Heated Ground Burns Boy's Feet
A rare accident sends a boy to the hospital for burn injuries. The 8-year-old was playing at Golden Hills Park near Rockrimmon and Delmonico Monday when he stepped in a waste pile of coal dust that was super-heated by sunlight. This was not "SUN HEATED GROUND" as stated in the headline. The sun was apparently what ingited the coal dust, but iot was the heat from the combustion that burned the boy's foot.

If it is just heat from the sun why did it take so long to get noticed? Meaning I have lived right by the coal dust for 4 years and my children have even walked thru it.
