Three Hurricane Katrina evacuees who'd relocated to Colorado are dead, after an alleged drunken-driving crash today in Texas.
Dallas police say 48-year-old Robert Roser Junior was intoxicated as he drove his sport utility vehicle along Interstate 20 and slammed into a second S-U-V this morning.
Two evacuees died in the crash, while a third was run over by a semi.
The victims are identified as 79-year-old Lillian Williams Butler, 59-year-old Fred Sammy Moore, and 42-year-old Melvin Butler.
Police say the three victims, and a 47-year-old survivor, were related -- and relocated to Colorado Springs after Katrina.
Lynn Butler-Slugher remains hospitalized in stable condition.
Authorities say the group was going to New Orleans to check on their property.
