Couple Killed When Car Plunges into River
Two people are killed when their car plunged into the Arkansas River.

An elderly couple was killed Wednesday when their car plunged into the Arkansas River.
The car went into the river about five miles west of the Royal Gorge, along Highway 50.
Authorities say the couple appeared to be in their 80's. However, authorities have yet to aren't release the names of the victims, or where they're from.
Speed has been ruled out as a factor.
