Although we are still tracking some light snow and icy/snow covered roads, the biggest concern for the morning will be the frigid temperatures. We are starting off with temperatures a few degrees above/below zero. Due to a breezy wind this morning, our wind chill, or what it "feels" like is well below zero. Please bundle up with numerous layers as you head out this morning. You will likely need to keep all the layers on hand throughout the day as highs reach the teens and low 20s with lingering flurries possible. Vice President Dick Cheney will be in Denver Monday to attend a reception for congressional candidate Rick O-Donnell -- who's running for the seat being vacated by fellow Republican Bob Beauprez (BOW'-pray).
Cheney will speak at a gathering at Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium.
O-Donnell is executive director of the Colorado Commission on Higher Education. He's seeking the Republican nomination in the Seventh Congressional District.
Beauprez -- the incumbent -- is running for governor. Two Democrats are in the race.
