USOC Troubles

The President of the U.S Olympic Committee has been asked by all five vice presidents of the committee, to resign. They say Marty Manmaker can no longer effectively guide the organization.

She has not yet responded to the accusation.

The USOC is already in the midst of an ethics scandal. An Alabama family has now withdrawn a proposed $10 million donation to the organization in protest to an executive committee's decision to clear Lloyd Ward of any wrongdoing.

Ward, the USOC's executive director, proposed a deal to help his brother land a contract for the 2003 Pan Am Games.

Since then five Olympic officials have resigned in protest.
