A body found in a Castle Rock landfill has been identified as a missing Springs man. 42-year-old Michael Adamson was found in a refrigerator on Jan. 17.
Police believe Jennifer Wend, who lived with Adamson, shot him on Christmas Eve, after he allegedly threatened to shoot her dog.
Wend appeared before a judge this afternoon to hear that she will likely face first-degree murder charges. She remains in jail without bond.
Her advisement is scheduled for Jan. 27.
