Snow and rain will continue to taper from north. Main roads should stay just wet overnight and through early Thursday. Secondary roads and any bridges and overpasses away from city warmth will be icy, so be careful. Locally dense fog will be an issue for the early morning too. Heavy fog in a remote area of British Columbia is preventing investigators from reaching the site of an avalanche that killed seven skiers Monday.
Three of the dead were Americans. One was a 49-year-old Littleton man. The two others were from California.
All were part of a group brought into the remote area by helicopter.
One other skier was hospitalized after yesterday's avalanche. Survivors spent the night at a remote chalet. It's not clear yet how they'll be evacuated.
Avalanche conditions in the area had been rated as hazardous Monday.
