It's going to cost you even more for a fill-up today. AAA this morning reports the price of gas at a national average of a little more than $3.77 for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline. Premium gas is a whopping $4.15 a gallon.

The new average beats the price this time last year by about 68 cents a gallon. The price is expected to climb at least until the Memorial Day weekend.

The Energy Department forecast recently that prices would top out next month at an average of $3.73 a gallon. Many analysts now expect the national average to hit $4.00 a gallon in the coming weeks.

Meantime, the price of crude oil Thursday has steadied above $124 a barrel. Crude prices slipped from record highs following a mixed report from the government Wednesday on U.S. petroleum reserves.

Bush could careless if gas is high its just a bigger profit for him and more so he sure doesn't pay for gas doesn't that come from are tax dollars to! He would be just as thrilled if we all direct deposited are "stimulas" right into his personal oil account after him and his dear old dad own plenty of the oil!

People are sppiled. Figure out the price of water at 1.49 for 20 ounces. Compare that to something that comes out of the ground, shipped half way around the world, refined and transported across the country. And we have first use water. Think about it.

Let's boycott Memorial Weekend. Everyone stay home and have BBQ with your neighbors.

And the prices in Colorado are higher than shown by all the surveys since we have to purchase "Mid-Range" fuel to get the same octane rating as the rest of the county's "Regular" grade.

  • Posted By: PamelaSweet! What a great place to be a teenager! Now your liquor is as easy to get as your drugs! Take that Mr. Establishment (total sarcasm haters)!
  • Posted By: KennaYou make it sound like this happened last night or even within a month!! Truth is Im the bartender @ Porkys and I never gave anyone under 21 a beer!!!!
  • Posted By: Phil DuhonGood reporting, but a little misleading. Porky's was stung in July, the video posted was from July and drastic measures have been taken since and before then to stop underage drinking. A bar or a club have nothing to gain from selling to a minor. I am not disputing this report, but the way it was presented is a little shady. I noticed you used Oscar's as well but failed to report that the sting was un-successful.
