Washington Man Arrested in Fremont County Save Email Print

A Washington state man has been arrested in Fremont County by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Authorities say Andrew Douglas Franz of Kent, Washington traveled to Colorado to allegedly have a sexual relationship with an underage girl. While in reality it was all part of an undercover investigation.

The 41-year-old has been charged with criminal solicitation, enticement of a child, unlawful sexual contract, and soliciting for child prostitution among many other charges.

He is currently being held at the Fremont County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond.

Great Job by the Fremont County Task Force! Another loser thinking he can get over on the system and harm a child; meet Bubba, your new cellmate! Throw the book at this guy, lock him up for as long as possible! He deserves nothing but bread/water/hard labor while enjoying his stay in our state prison system. Again, great job by law enforcement; you're the best!
