A small grass fire burns west of the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. Smoke was reportedly be seen from the hotel.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department says about 5 acres has burned and it's an area firefighters term as "safe."

Crews remain on scene to monitor hot spots.

I saw the smoke around 4pm Wednesday from the Olympic Training Center. It was pretty obvious something was on fire.

The smoke can be seen from pretty much any place from 115 and east.
