A Keystone Ski Resort worker has died after falling 25 feet from a chairlift.
Forty-seven-year-old Kenneth Zech fell from the Summit Express chairlift at about 4:20 p.m. Wednesday.
Ski patrol took him to Snake River Clinic, where he died a short time later.
Zech, who was from La Crosse, Wisconsin, was a food service worker at the resort.
Authorities say they are still investigating the death. Zech is the second person this season to die after falling from a chairlift.
The first was Jack Mason, the mountain operations manager at Winter Park. Eight other people have died on Colorado ski slopes this season, six from accidents and two from health problems.
