(Trinidad-AP) -- Firefighters have fully contained a wildfire complex that's burned nearly 33 thousand acres near Trinidad over the past few weeks.

Fire officials still don't know when they'll have the blaze under control because there are a lot of unburned islands in the fire's interior.

About 213 firefighters remained on the blaze Saturday. Officials expect to release some of those crews Sunday.

Fire Information Officer Martha Smith says officials feel pretty good about how the fire looks right now. The fire was started June 1st by a lightning storm.
