A Springs man is acquitted after he was accused of impersonating a police officer and sexually assaulting a woman he reportedly knew.

The Colorado Springs Police Department arrested 24-year-old Stephen Frazier for the crime in November of 2012. A year later, a jury found him not guilty of the charges.

The accuser in the case told police that she had been sexually assaulted by an undercover Colorado Springs police officer.

Cops said the accuser is acquainted with Frazier. He is not a police officer with CSPD or any other law enforcement agency. He did work as a security guard.
