Colorado Springs police are investigating the deaths of two adults and two young children whose
bodies were found in a house early this morning. Sergeant Jane Anderson says police got a call at 3:22 a.m. from a child reporting a disturbance at the house in northeastern Colorado Springs. While officers were en route to the house they lost contact with child. The doors were locked when they arrived so officers forced entry into the house and found the bodies in a lower level bedroom. Lieutenant Skip Arms says the victims died from apparent gunshot wounds, and a firearm was found at the scene. He says the children were 8 and 3 years old. Their names, and the names and ages of the adults, have not been released. Police are investigating the deaths as murders and suicide.
