Investigators now say an arson fire that destroyed an Aurora warehouse last month was linked to drugs. Fire investigators believe the blaze was set to cover the theft of an ingredient in cold medicine used to make methamphetamine.
Aurora fire officials called the Dec. 21 blaze at the Fleming Convenience Warehouse the largest fire in the city's history.
The warehouse was a storage site for convenience store supplies.
At least three men including a former warehouse employee are in custody on unrelated charges. They could face additional state or federal charges related to the fire.
