Residents in Alamosa are finally able to use their water regularly... as long as it's boiled for at least a minute.

After weeks of restrictions due to Salmonella-contaminated water, residents have been given the go-ahead to use water to drink, prepare food, make ice and brush teeth- as long as the water has been boiled.

Residents in Alamosa were previously only allowed to use the water to wash clothes and bath.
