The Dave Matthews Band has added a fourth show to its sold-out three-night stint this month at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, with all profits going to charities supporting victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Billboard.com says the band is the first to announce a benefit show for hurricane victims. But Matthews tells The Associated Press that getting money and supplies to the area quickly was more important to him than being first.
Tickets for the benefit concert on September 12th will go on sale at 10 a.m. on September seventh. The band's ticketing company will donate the service charges levied on each ticket. A group called the Conscious Alliance will sponsor a food drive all four nights the Dave Matthews Band performs.
