Fort Carson Soldiers Killed in Iraq

Two more Fort Carson soldiers have died in Iraq.

Family members say they were told that Second Lieutenant Charles Robert Rubado died Monday. The 23-year-old from Florida was killed when his tank was fired on.

Rubado was assigned to the First Squadron, Third Armored Cavalry Regiment. He was married and graduated last year from Florida Southern College.

The Pentagon reports that Chief Warrant Officer Dennis Hay was killed Monday when his helicopter came under fire in Tal Afar.

The 32-year-old Fort Carson soldier was from Valdosta, Georgia. Hay was assigned to the Fourth Squadron, Third Armored Cavalry Regiment.
