I am a new resident of the wonderful and beautiful state of CO. I feel this expansion is wrong for the people. There are wonderful and truly amazing sites here that will be lost to EVERYONE not just our residents. There are untold homesteads, my husbands mothers grandfather is burried in an area that will no longer be accesible, so will the home she was born in. This is not to make small the area farmers and ranchers who will loose everything they have worked for all their lives, the things that have been handed down for generations. Their heritage, love, life, you name it. Just imagine if you will, that the government wants to demolish your home, your life just to pile all its military in one hand site. What an easy target for terrists if all our military in in one spot. The government has closed down how many military bases? And they want to take over the entire southeast part of the state? Who else feels this is not a wise idea? Oh but we are talking about our governement!
