More than half of the 159 victims were between 13 and 15 years old.

Authorities say they've arrested 17 people in a 10-month investigation of a ring that sold cocaine and methamphetamine in northern Colorado.

The Longmont Times-Call reported Thursday that most of the arrests were made in Longmont. Boulder County Sheriff's Cmdr. Scott Williams says at least four people were arrested in Boulder.

Keith Weiss, assistant special agent in charge for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, said leaders of the ring were responsible for bringing the drugs from Mexico to Boulder County. Most of the arrests were for possession of controlled drugs and possession with intent to distribute.

Officers in Larimer and Weld counties and several municipal police departments participated in the arrests.
