A federal judge is ordering the University of Colorado to turn over some documents it's accused of withholding by two women who filed a lawsuit claiming they were raped by football players or recruits.
In his 62-page order today, Judge Craig Shaffer says he was struck by defense counsel's lack of candor and gave the university two weeks to turn over the documents and argue why it shouldn't be penalized.
Simpson's attorney, Baine Kerr, says he's pleased the court is taking seriously the need for sanctioning or disciplining the university's improper conduct.
Calls to university officials haven't yet been returned.
