Starting today, drivers under 18 can't carry any passengers for the first six months they have a license.
And from six months until a year, drivers are only allowed one passenger.
There are exceptions, like for emergencies, or if the passenger is over 21 with a license, or a sibling of the driver.
The law also restricts under 18 drivers from the hitting the road between midnight and 5 a.m.
