Cloned Baby?

A Colorado State University professor is skeptical of claims that a Florida group has produced the first human clone. Professor George Seidel says livestock cloning only has a success rate of 2-3% and up to 20% of cloned animals have potentially fatal health problems. He thinks those kinds of results make it unethical to try cloning humans.

Livestock cloning has been studied at CSU and a half dozen
other universities for about 20 years. At C-S-U, researchers have cloned horses, sheep and cattle. Most of the cloning work has involved cattle embryos and not the reproduction of adult livestock.
