Military officials say one of the soldiers killed over the weekend in Iraq was from a Fort Carson unit.
Sergeant First Class Neal Prince of Balitmore was killed in an attack on an Army convoy. Another soldier from the Iowa National Guard was also killed.
A total of three bombs were used in the attack. The first blast didn't injure anyone. A second exploded as soldiers sought to secure the area and then a third exploded under the Humvee Prince was riding in.
The 35-year-old served with the Second Brigade Combat Team in the Second Infantry Division.
