Cold Weather

A severe thunderstorm dropped quarter-sized hail today near Lamar as it moved over southeast Colorado.

Farther west, temperatures dropped as much as ten degrees or more below average along the Front Range while snow was likely in the mountains above ten-thousand feet.

Temperatures stayed in the 50s in Denver and Fort Collins. On the Western Slope, temperatures in the low 70s were being reported in Grand Junction and Durango.
