A Wal-Mart store manager who was shot when he tried to prevent a purse snatching is improving today.
Colorado Springs police are still looking for the manager's assailant.
30-old Kevin Farley was in critical condition after he was shot in the hip and back Saturday, but he has been upgraded to serious condition.
Farley was shot after he and two other Wal-Mart employees tried to stopped two men and a woman who allegedly were trying to steal a woman's purse from a shopping cart. One of the men fired three shots at the workers.
The gunman and the woman drove away, but police have arrested 18-year-old Eric Riedenour on suspicion of attempted murder and felony theft.
