A substitute teacher faces a felony charge of solicitation for child prostitution after allegedly offering money to a student in exchange for sex.

Lloyd Clark was arrested Thursday at his home without incident. He later was released on $10,000 bail.

When reached at his home Friday, the 73-year-old Clark said he's speechless and the allegations apparently stem from a misunderstanding.

Clark said he taught for 40 years and has been a substitute teacher for 11 years.

The incident allegedly happened at Wasson High School in Colorado Springs School District 11.

This is a long shot since the last post here was in 2008. I had a Lloyd Clark as a music teacher in Helena, Montana in the mid 60's. He was, indeed, a great teacher & always joked around with everyone & we all liked him. I respected him until he exposed himself to me in his car on the way to an event. Obviously I don't know if this is the same man but his age & the fact that he is a teacher leave open the possibility that he is the Lloyd Clark I knew. He also looks vaguely familiar, although it has been more than 40 years since I knew him. If anyone has a bio of him, I would be very interested in seeing it. Does anyone on your staff have access to a bio? Please write me back if you do. Thank you.

Ok, well I posted on the other article. The updated one, but ill do this one as well. I dont know how you can possibly say "he cant do this" Anyone can... The only hting that bothers me, is that he could face up to life in prison. I am a freshman boy at wasson, but im not going to say who I am for legal reasons. But I just want to get the word out that anyone can do anything. Any age or weight, or wtvr.

I am on his side I have had him 4 times since High School he has not done anything to make me or my friend uncomfortable The Person that said he did this was lying to get money or what not just like the Wendy's incident 2 years ago. Gramps is innocent
