Terry Barton pleaded guilty, Friday, to setting fire to federal land and making false statements to investigators. The Hayman fire, in the mountains southwest of Denver destroyed 133 homes and cost more than $29 million to contain.

Barton is scheduled for sentencing Feburary 21. She faces 70 to 87 months in prison, and restitution for the 2 federal counts with which she's charged.

For the state charges, the U.S. Attorney's office says that Barton will be prosecuted separately in state court. Victims say the federal sentence is too short and call Barton's plea agreement unfair.

Barton and public defender Warren Williamson declined comment after the hearing. She remains free until she is sentenced.
