Police say a woman was found dead in her Colorado Springs apartment this morning was apparently stabbed to death.
Colorado Springs Police spokesman lieutenant Pete Carey says police were called to a disturbance at an apartment complex at 1228 Delaware Drive around 2:30 a.m.
When they entered the apartment, they found 49-year-old Joni Glisinski-Torres dead of apparent stab wounds. An autopsy will be performed tomorrow to determine the exact cause of death.
Police are investigating Torres' death as a homicide. So far there are no suspects in custody. If you have any information about her death, you are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
