Help Wanted

Plenty of jobs but not enough workers. All because not enough work permits are available to go around.

Colorado companies who depend on foreign workers are hitting a wall trying to hire them.

The limited number of H-2B visas ran out in January. The visas allow foreign workers to work legally in the country.

The limit is set by Congress but some companies are asking to have the program expanded.

Colorado trailed only Texas in the number of visa requests last year.

The visas are granted to foreigners who go after jobs that are usually too low paying for Americans.
