A FLASH FLOOD WATCH remains in effect for all of southern Colorado throughout our evening and overnight on Tuesday. Storms will continue to be an issue, capable of producing heavy rain with very slow movement. Storms look to mainly favor north and east of areas like Colorado Springs and the Waldo Canyon area, but storms cannot be ruled out still in this area. The 11 Breaking Weather team will be monitoring conditions closely. This Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through 6pm Wednesday, where another day of thunderstorms is possible. Colorado companies who depend on foreign workers are hitting a wall trying to hire them.
The limited number of H-2B visas ran out in January. The visas allow foreign workers to work legally in the country.
The limit is set by Congress but some companies are asking to have the program expanded.
Colorado trailed only Texas in the number of visa requests last year.
The visas are granted to foreigners who go after jobs that are usually too low paying for Americans.
